The Arrowsmith Chapter of the Federation of Canadian Artists is having their annual juried Exhibition and Sale, called "Reflections", in the TOSH 10 Gallery. A Reception and Awards presentation with artists in attendance will be held on Wednesday June 22, 6-8 PM, with a free draw at 8 PM for several prizes such as paintings, art cards and prints, donated by the artists. Everyone is welcome to attend.
The FCA was established in in 1941 and has had such notables as Lawren Harris and Emily Carr as members. The Arrowsmith Chapter was formed in the 1990's and represents over 60 artists from emerging to professional with the common objective of developing high standards in their work.
The art work shown in this Exhibition and Sale was submitted to a jury of senior members of the Federation of Canadian Artists in Vancouver, where the pieces to be hung in Qualicum were chosen for their originality, creativity, skill and high quality.
