New at TOSH10

Just in time for the summer season! Small, unframed (matted) original paintings as well as reproductions are now available for sale at TOSH10.

TOSH 10 is more than just a gallery. It is also a working studio with an artist in residence daily. The visiting public are more than welcome to watch the artist at work.

Guest Artist: Helen Webster

TOSH10 welcomes guest artist Helen Webster.

Initially a watercolour painter, Helen's recent work in both representational landscapes and abstracts has been in acrylics.

Helen is an Active status member of the Federation of Canadian Artists. Her work has been accepted in FCA juried shows, and she is currently represented by the Nanaimo Art Gallery. Her paintings hang in private and corporate collections in Alberta and British Columbia.

Helen will be with us at TOSH10 from July thru December.

Laura Hilts in Sooke Fine Arts 2010


Laura Hilts has a painting in in the Sooke Fine Arts Show. The show runs from July 24 to August 2. Along with the 7,500 annual visitors who attend the art show, the show draws hundreds of art patrons from British Columbia, and throughout western Canada and the United States.

Festival of Arts Show

Disa Marie Hale, AFCA, Susan McLennan, Helene McIntosh and Patricia Carroll are all in the Festival of Arts show at the Oceanside Community Arts Council in Parksville (OCAC).

Disa was awarded 2nd Place, and Susan and Helene both received Honourable Mentions.

Susan McLenann in POTE

Susan McLennan has work accepted in Painting on the Edge (POTE) at Federation Gallery in Vancouver.

Painting on the Edge is a juried competition open to all living artists worldwide featuring original paintings, printmaking and drawing media. Abstract, expressive, impressionist or realist styles are welcome. The name, Painting on the Edge, is partly derived from the physical location of Vancouver, BC Canada on the West Coast edge of North America but also from the challenge issued to the artists to push their artistic limits and create extraordinary and unique images.

Marilyn Cooney, AFCA, in FCA Summer Gallery

Marilyn Cooney, AFCA has been chosen as one of the artists in the 2010 Federation of Canadian Artists Summer Gallery.

Each year 18 to 20 members are selected by the FCA Standards committee to participate for the summer season. Well done Marilyn!
